Projects

As a company, we have helped deliver some truly ground-breaking and emotionally-impactful lighting projects across the globe. Our diverse clients include BBC, Arup, Theatre Projects, Carnival Cruises, The National Theatre, Royal Opera House and Royal Albert Hall – all of whom trusted us to deliver their specific lighting vision.

Below you will find a range of in-depth case studies which explore several of these projects in detail.

Vivedia

Vivedia partnered with Gedling Crematorium in Nottingham to launch the world’s first experiential funeral venue – and asked 3LR to provide the lighting concept, design, and consultation services.

The Royal Irish Academy of Music

To mark the Royal Irish Academy of Music’s 175th anniversary, the institution opened a brand-new RIAM Campus – and approached 3LR Lighting to specify a new house-lighting system.

Bristol Beacon

As part of a five-year refurbishment, we worked with Bristol Beacon to provide the major music and arts venue with a complete ETC architectural lighting and power control system.

Brighton Dome – Corn Exchange

Originally built around 1803 as the Prince Regent’s stables and riding house, Brighton Dome has had many guises over its 200-year history. Today, it has evolved into the south coast’s premier multi-arts venue and conference venue;

St Johns Chapel – Tower of London

St John’s is a Romanesque chapel, located in the heart of the Tower of London. It was built between 1077 and 1097 and constitutes not only the best preserved interior in the White Tower but also one of the finest examples of Anglo-Norman church architecture in England.

I have worked with Matt over many years on numerous projects both large and small, complex, and simple. It would be fair to say Matt consistently brings his vast industry experience, energy, fun and enthusiasm to every project no matter what it is. As Director of Lighting Design at Satore I have enjoyed working on some extraordinarily complex projects – having Matt and 3LR Lighting alongside as a resource and trusted partner has proved invaluable.
